Kentucky Lake, is a
wonderful place to spend your vacation. Kentucky Lake has great
fishing, boating, swimming, golfing, hiking, hunting, horse-back
riding, antiquing or just plain relaxing to get away from it all.
Kentucky Lake is just 25 miles on I-24 from Paducah. The lake is
200 miles long and has over 2400 miles of shoreline. It connects
with the Tom-Big-Bee waterway in Alabama and Lake Barkley. When
created in 1945, Kentucky Lake was the largest man-made lake in
the world, and still is in the top ten.
Imagine, twenty
five hundred square feet where you can relax with a million dollar
view, in home-style comfort. You will enjoy lake view from both
the front and back of the house. Upstairs there are two large
bedrooms. One provides a spectacular view of the KY Dam and main
lake. The second greets you with a great view of Sledd Creek. A
reading alcove and a bathroom complete the upstairs. Downstairs
there is a large master Bedroom facing the Lake and Dam, bath,
large living room with a beautiful fireplace and game table,
dining room and kitchen with open countertop to the dining room.
Laundry room with washer and dryer. Step out of the living room onto the 12 x 30 tile porch. The
living room and porch have a gorgeous view of Sledd Creek and are
only a few hundred feet away from some of the best fishing on
Kentucky Lake. The porch is fully-furnished with chairs, table,
gas grille and a built in 6 person hot tub. The other side of the
porch steps down to a flagstone patio and a Joggling Bench. There
is a large stone patio in front of the house with stone walls and
exposed aggregate walkways all around the house.
There is a carport
and ample parking on the circular drive. The lot is 1 and 1/3
acres of oak and hickory trees and lots of squirrels and birds.
This is one of the best-located lots on Sledd Creek, which is the
premier sub-division on Kentucky Lake. Take a walk down the gentle
slope of the boat path to the lake where you will find a riprap
walkway leading to a floating dock. There is a launch-ramp
adjacent to the dock. The dock is shared with a neighbor who
anchors his pontoon on the opposite side of the dock.
